Country Romance
On March 5, 2016 C. Wright Photography shot the amazing Country Wedding of Angelica and Ryan Doxey. They were wed in a gorgeous Catholic church in Texas.
They are such an amazingly fun couple, they wanted to stop at Buc-cee's on the way to their reception at Zedler's Mill in Schulenberg.
Angelica and Ryan met at KC's Icehouse where Angelica was a bartender there. Ryan was smitten and struck up conversations with her on a consistent basis, and one day asked her out and she {obviously!} said yes! They figured out quickly they both love the outdoors, fishing and share those passions together daily.
For their wedding they they got married at St. Mary's Catholic church in High Hill Texas, a small but gorgeous church 2 hours outside of Houston. Angelica and her daughter's bouquets were simple but beautiful, and were designed by The Garden Company. From there they stopped at Buc-cee's on the way to their reception to get beaver bites and beer. The reception was gorgeous, with lots of small touches, like refurbished milk bottles, tailor-made glasses with the wedding date etched into them and a photo both to capture the silly moments. The food was provided by close friends with Holy Cow Cookers who made smoked brisket and chicken, beans, potato salad and bread. The wedding cake tied into the milk bottles, with it having it trimmed with burlap. The groom's cake was in the shape of a life-sized fish that had a blue-green sheen on it. Both cakes were provided by Sue "C" Cakes. The couple and their friends and family danced the night away, at one of the most relaxed and romantic weddings I have attended to date.
